a. This collection of Frame Vernacular cabins comprises one of Miami's
few remaining intact tourist courts, which represents one of the earliest
stages in the development of the motel industry. The detached cabins are
arranged in the row-on-row pattern typical of a classic tourist court.
Each cabin has an attached carport, reflecting the growing importance
of automobiles and the new national highway system for the 1920s tourist
industry.
b. Historic postcard of the Magic City Park, circa 1945.
