| :: The Plaza of the Spanish Navy / Plaza de la Marina Española is a monument that honors the Spanish Navy, which under the orders of the admiral of the Ocean-Sea arrived in the Americas October 12th, 1492. The monument was erected in 1991, near the mooring site of the Spanish tall ship Juan Sebastian Elcano, by Mayor Xavier Suarez and Consul General Erik I. Martel, on the occasion of one of its visits to Miami." |
